Stamp Storage

I've had some customers (and fellow consultants) ask me how I store my stamps and up until recently it was a bit of a mess. I wanted to be able to store the stamps so that I could easily see them, however I didn't want to lose any stamps with them falling out of a file. So my solution was this. *Stamp images with Stazon ink onto A5 sheets of plastic.
*Mini Messages are in A6 plastic sleeves (again from Officeworks)
*Place unmounted stamps onto plastic sheets according to the Kaszazz Catalogue order. *Each plastic sheet placed in A5 sleeve with a tab at the top listing all the stamps in it and the codes.
*A5 Accordian Files (from Officeworks)with collections of stamps as per the Kaszazz Catalogue (ie: Botanicals, Vintage Flourish, Vintage Floral).
*Binder Index - slips into Journal Pocket which is stuck to the inside of the lid.
I had been sticking the catalogue image to the back of the plastic, however I've now changed my mind and will instead be stamping with image with StazOn to the back of the plastic sheet. As a customer you may want to do this according to theme: animal, christmas, sayings, word stamps, backgrounds. Or you could organise by stamp company. Whichever works for you. I find this storage system works for me, I can grab a selection of stamps to take with me to workshops and I know that I'm not going to lose any stamps with them falling out of a folder. I think having the stamps stored this way would look awesome in an old style filing cabinet, so that you could flick through them.... I hope this helps you to sort all of your stamps. Cheers,

Tim Holtz Workshop - Sydney June 2012

Kaszazz are an amazing company and I'm so glad I'm a Consultant for them. On the 19th of June I flew to Sydney to attend a Tim Holtz workshop organised by Peter and Karen Stock of Kaszazz in conjunction with Stamp It and Ranger. We got to meet Tim Holtz, Mario and Alain from Ranger and do a 3 hour technique workshop (I'll be running this workshop soon - details posted soon). We all got a commemorative mug and we got to bring along something for Tim to sign. I choose my Creative Chemistry 101 Graduate apron. The workshop was great fun and I even made it into a video on Tim's blog (that's me waving) and a photo. After the workshop, Peter and Karen Stock of Kaszazz took us all out to lunch at a wonderful restaurant where a 'mini conference' was held. Awards and prizes were given. Linda (my travel companion) took off a little early as Linda hadn't travelled before, let alone to Sydney. So we headed off to see the sights and take a ferry trip around the harbour. Little did I know that I won 1st prize for the Most Attractive 2HW for 2011! $500 in product and $500 in vouchers! Wow, thanks Kaszazz!

1st Place - Most Attractive 2HW 2011/2012

Wow! My Flowers and Flourish Workshop has been voted the Most Attractive 2HW by Kaszazz for 2011/2012. Unfortunately I left the lunch in Sydney early to go sightseeing, thinking that I wouldn't be receiving any prizes or awards, so I didn't get to receive my $500 worth of products first hand. Although, according to Janet Buckle I wouldn't have been able to bring it all back as I had only bought a carry-on luggage ticket anyway! Thanks for lugging the goodies back Janet! If you would liket to do this workshop or any of the other great workshops that Kaszazz offer - email me. Cheers,

Off to the Lyndsay Baigent Training Day at Zena Melville's place. Here's the "Friendship" themed card that I made for the swap. I've stamped the new 4512Q Ornate Flouish Stamp set with Staz On ink onto Acetate and attached over the Cherish Friends background with Gold Spiral Clips.

Ezy-Press Die and Embossing Plate Storage

Ever wondered how to store your Ezy-Press dies and Embossing Folders? Well here's the solution - the 5036 SB Album D Ring 8.5" x 11" (rrp $29.95). The great thing being that you can cover the front of the album however you choose.

The larger Dies, such as the 2901 Circle die fit perfectly into the protective sleeves that come with the album. I leave mine on the backing card that the dies come on. Small to medium sized dies and embossing plates fit into the 70276 SB Album - Share and Tell - Photo Pocket Pages 6x4. I just fold the page in 1/2 so that it doesn't poke out the side of the album.

The smallest of dies fit in the ATC display pages that you can buy at any good newsagency or gaming shop.

Hope you enjoy Love, Peace, Good Health and Happiness in 2012.

Cheers,

Thought I'd participate in a few more GPP Crusades...this one is about getting yourself on film as oftern we're the ones behind the camera. I took these photos today whilst the kids and co. were having a ball sliding down the rocks at FR Berry Reserve.

Yeah, no makeup and no photoshop!
